On May 4, 2012, Leslie Hagen won the People's Choice Award for her sculpture, "Dragon Diva", at the Kauai Society of Artists Annual Membership Exhibit held at Kukui Grove Shopping Center in Lihue.  Congratulations Leslie!

Leslie says, "The Dragon was inspired by a gecko in my studio and morphed into this Dragon Diva with copper wire wings adorned with rooster feathers.  The body is sculpted from porcelain clay , bisque fired, washed with iron oxide, glazed and fired again to cone 6.  The sculpture stands about 13" tall."
