The Zonta Club of Hanalei was chartered on April 1, 2007. Robin Savage, a long-term, dedicated business woman in Hanalei, rallied fellow professional business women along Kauai's north shore to gather together in support of Zonta International. With an ongoing goal of advancing the status of women worldwide, the Zonta Club of Hanalei became the 2nd Zonta Club on the island of Kauai. The members meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month to discuss their efforts in planning fundraising funds to assist young women with scholarships and more.

Zonta International is a global organization of nearly 33,000 members working together worldwide. In addition to the Zonta Club of Hanalei, there are more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas. Known as “Zontians,” members have committed hundreds of thousands of service hours and millions of dollars to a wide range of women-focused community service projects. For more information see and .
